The Visual Rich Editor

This is found where you update and change your password on the dashboard of your new blog.
It’s down the page a little in the left. If you use the visual rich editor you CANNOT use the media uploder.
So if you want to use the media upload please uncheck the visual rich editor box.
Media Upload: When you go to your admin panel and click on the tab labeled write…
Here you will find tabs below the word Write like… Post b i link b-quote etc…
If you click on media you can put a youtube video url, Meaning (”address” …http://www.youtube.com/watch?1234@)
And it will add it to your blog post.
You can use the SWF ( shockwave Flash File) the same way as the media tab. If a friend sends you an swf file you can add it to your blog post By Clicking SWF and adding the address.
Not using the visual rich editor has it’s advantages while writing posts you have more options.
